His works are often noted for their unique style, elegance, and technique. Earl has developed an innovative style that blends precise realism with abstract expressionism. His use of different materials such as pre-ban fossilized ivories and exotic woods lend strong lines and detail to his work. These are excellent choices for a wide range of projects and purposes. Earl is accomplished in using traditional methods as well as modern technique. His carvings have been featured in gallaries in Virginia with awards to his credit.The Japanese Repository Has been established since 1992 and specializes in ivory repair and restoration work to the trade and private parties, using genuine ivory materials. Missing or broken parts are hand carved in ivory and securely attached to the object. Whenever possible, repairs are made with ivory matching the original in color and density and finish. |
